Fast sites that can be changed by asking.

I build websites and platforms that are meant to be run by agents from the first day: content changed by asking, measurement built in, structured data and search visibility looked after, pages that load fast everywhere. If you already have a site and it's basically fine, Site Brain plugs into it and I don't rebuild it.

What I do

  • New sites on Astro and Cloudflare, in your own account, so nothing is hosted on my side and you own it outright.
  • Work with what you have first - WordPress, HubSpot, whatever it is - and suggest a rebuild only when the outcome you want actually needs one.
  • Measurement from the first commit: forms into your CRM exactly as today, tracking carried over, the source captured on each lead.
  • Structured data, titles, descriptions and the rest of search hygiene maintained after launch, by Site Brain, with your approval.
  • Handover with documentation your own team can support.

The first job

Often a single page rebuilt on the new setup, looking like your current site, with your lead form going into your CRM exactly as it does today and the tracking carried over. You see how the site runs and what it's like to edit before committing to anything bigger.

What it costs

A fixed price per build.

Pricing

“We don't want to replatform.”

Then don't. Most of what I do works on the site you have, and if I think a rebuild is worth it I'll say so and give you the reason, not a sales pitch.

Where this runs

Fronts and the channel sites run on my own platform; the client sites run on theirs.

  • Publication

    Fronts

A publication with articles, video, podcasts, a newsletter and a paid membership, built and run with Fulcrum Labs. Articles are produced with agents, with editors on the decisions.

  • Publication

    The channel network

Websites for Simon Whistler's YouTube channels, from MegaProjects to Casual Criminalist, built and run with Fulcrum Labs.

  • Earlier work

    NDepend

Logo, homepage and years of inbound marketing for a .NET static-analysis tool, including starting its blog and publishing a community e-book on code practices.

  • Platform

Site Brain on my own sites

I'm building Site Brain and testing it on my own sites first: the channel sites, Fronts and growthlabs.work. The first customers will be design partners. I'll publish before-and-after numbers as they come in, and not before.

  • Platform

    Growth Labs Publishing

One codebase that builds each website as its own deployment, with its own domain, database and settings. Fronts runs on it, and the channel sites are moving onto it.

  • Platform

    Growth Labs sign-in

My own sign-in service: one account for all my sites and tools, by emailed code or Google.

Already have a site?

Site Brain connects to it and sends you a short list of proposed changes each week, so nothing gets rebuilt unless it has to be.
