About Growth Labs, which is mostly me.
Who I am
I'm Grant Phillips. I started Growth Labs in 2013 as a marketing agency for software companies - strategy, search, inbound, HubSpot, websites, measurement - and ran it with a small team between Billings, Montana and Prague, for about forty businesses over the years.
Since 2025 I've been building and running operations with agents instead. A group of channel sites and a paid publication produces its articles with agents and editors. I do measurement and tracking engineering for software companies. Site Brain came out of keeping those sites improving without a team to do it.
How I work is easy to describe: you talk to me, the agents do the routine work, your people keep the decisions, and I try everything I sell on my own sites first. I'm in Prague, I work with clients in the US and Europe, and I travel when it matters.
